Daytona, FL (Dec. 8, 2009)—Nick Anglada Originals (www.nickangladaoriginals.com) unveiled a custom-built baseball-themed Star Raider to many anxious fans last Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Yamaha booth at the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, California.

Anglada worked alongside Seattle Mariners Superstar Ken Griffey Jr. and the Ken Griffey Jr. Family Foundation to make this Star Raider Motorcycle a reality. Ken Griffey Jr. is a long-standing national board member of the Boys and Girls Club of America and the unique motorcycle will be auctioned off early next year with all the proceeds benefiting the clubs.

“This motorcycle represents a lot of committed people coming together and making a difference for the children served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America,” said Nick Anglada, owner of Nick Anglada Originals. “I truly enjoyed working with Ken Griffey Jr. and the Ken Griffey Jr. Family Foundation. Ken really pulled through for the kids he cares about and even brought in two of his legendary baseball colleagues to help the cause.”

Designed, fabricated, and painted in seven days, the motorcycle includes an extremely aesthetic paint job that reflects the passion shared by most American's of baseball. The body work by Gator Customs (www.gatorcustoms.net), includes patented Gator Glass on the coil covers and on the custom gas tank that houses six enclosed, signed baseballs from Ken Griffey Jr., Willie Mays and Hank Aaron. Their work is also also located on the molded bodywork on the rear fender and over the custom paint with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America logo.

Other sponsors that helped make this bike possible include:

About Nick Anglada Originals

Nick Anglada Originals is the premier custom sport bike and cruiser builder in the United States. His creations have appeared on multiple magazine covers, won countless awards, and have drawn accolades from the enthusiast public and the media alike.

Nick Anglada’s customizing viewpoint is simple. Customizing is a work of art, but ultimately it must be built in harmony with the customer’s revelation.

When Nick’s customer sees his or her bike for the first time, his intention is for them to be filled with an overwhelming emotion eliciting a total epiphany. This is why Nick refers to his customer’s revelation, instead of his or her vision. His customers come to him because more is no longer enough. They demand absolute sovereignty; absolute independence from every single being around them. Their custom motorcycle must encapsulate that need in every respect while ultimately transporting the experience of motorcycling to an entirely new level. If Nick builds with an eye on their needs, while carefully overseeing the various elements that drive his creative process, the custom build will not only speak to the eyes, it will speak to the soul.
